About this event
Wednesday, March 8 @ 6pm on Zoom.
Are you a student or young person and have been thinking about what kind of work you will want to do in the future?
If you are between the age of about 15 and 25, you may wish to join us to hear from people who can explain four broad career areas you can consider as your future to explore :
1. Finance
2. Sales
3. Social Media
4. Technology
You will have the chance to hear from managers inside of companies in these four areas and you will be able to ask questions with managers from Bay Area companies.
Our experts will describe a variety of career roles and will candidly answer your questions and share tips for job hunters interested in entering each field of work and advancing careers.
Topics that will be covered include:
- What are the entry level jobs?
- What is a good way to break into the field?
- How to stand out and be perceived as especially valuable as a candidate?
- If you want to be a successful job hunter in the “field ," what kinds of things ought you to be interested in, or study or learn?-
- As a job hunter, how do you look at your own skill set and pick out what will be valuable to an organization?
