About this event
Join us for a hopeful conversation about the future of climate advocacy!
The presidency of Donald Trump has plunged the U.S. climate movement into a deep funk. As we watch the progress of the previous four years methodically undone for the benefit of the fossil fuel industry, it is easy to succumb to despair and conclude that nothing we do can make a difference.
Our guest this month begs to differ. He’ll make the case that the climate movement has enormous untapped strength, and, with the right strategy and tools, concerned citizens can mobilize that strength to blunt the damage being done and eventually turn the tide.
Join us for this hopeful live interview between Brett Walter, Founder & CEO of Climate Action Now, and Sam Matey-Coste, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Action Now and author of Climate Action Now’s Your Dose of Climate Hope.
Together, they’ll explore:
- The state of climate advocacy today
- Why the climate movement has failed to make climate a top priority of theAmerican public
- How climate-concerned citizens can blunt the Trumpian onslaught and eventually turn the tide
Register now, learn, be inspired, and bring your own questions to the table—because there is climate hope, and it’s here, now!
