Montgomery County Recovery Center and Center of Excellence Open House
Overview
Join Us for RHD’s 2025 Open House – Experience Recovery and Excellence in Action
Resources for Human Development (RHD) invites the Norristown and surrounding communities to experience the impactful work we do at the Montgomery County Recovery Center (MCRC) and Center of Excellence (COE) during our 2025 Open House.
Montgomery County Recovery Center (MCRC)
The Montgomery County Recovery Center is a licensed narcotic treatment program dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery through medication-assisted treatment and counseling.
Our Services Include:
- Medication-assisted treatment (Methadone, Vivitrol, Buprenorphine)
- HIV/AIDS and TB testing
- Priority access for pregnant women, parents, veterans, overdose survivors, and intravenous drug users
- Education and community outreach
At MCRC, recovery is more than a goal—it’s a shared journey toward a healthier future.
Center of Excellence (COE)
The COE was created in response to the opioid crisis and works to connect individuals with the care they need through a Warm Hand-Off (WHO) process.
What We Do:
- Coordinate access to medication-assisted treatment and other drug and alcohol services
- Provide mobile outreach—meeting people where they are
- Address the whole person: physical health, mental health, and social needs
- Educate the community about treatment options and the WHO initiative
Our mission is to serve with integrity and compassion, ensuring every individual receives the support they need.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing how RHD is making a difference in Montgomery County.
