Will alcohol be allowed?

Party goers are allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Cups and ice will be provided. NOTE: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed beyond the fenced area of the patio.

Will there be music?

It is anticipated that some of the faves of the era will be playing in the background.

Yes, the hosts will provide space for such memories to be shared.

Is there a fee to attend the party?

There is no fee to attend. However, there will be an opportunity to make a voluntary contribution if you wish.

I'm from out of town. What are some lodging options in Monett?

Two motels, Super 8 by Wyndham and Days Inn by Wyndham are located in Monett. Quality Inn and Suites is located nearby in Mt. Vernon. Airbnb lists at least 11 properties in Monett. Numerous other short-term rentals are available in the surrounding communities.

Cub Classmates 1965

During the COVID pandemic, four of us (Billie, Karen, Twink, and Cindy)scheduled regular Zoom calls so we could catch up and stay in touch. Three years later, we thought about how nice it would be to get together again with our friends from the Monett Class of '65. So, we have organized at party in celebration of our 60th anniversary of graduating from Monett High.

October 20, 2025

Monett City Park Casino Lounge/Patio

6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Prime Cut food truck will be set up to offer meal service. Each person will be able to order and pay for his/her own food choices. Alcohol will be permitted on a BYOB basis.* Bottled water will be provided.

*Alcoholic beverages must remain in the Lounge/Patio area. Such beverages are NOT permitted on the Park grounds.
