Join us at Gorman Heritage Farm for a hands-on Monarch Tagging program! Discover the incredible journey of monarch butterflies as they migrate thousands of miles to Mexico each fall. Learn about their life cycle, the challenges they face, and the vital role of conservation efforts in protecting this remarkable species. Participants will be provided with nets to safely catch and tag monarchs as part of a national community science tracking project. We’ll also search for monarch caterpillars and chrysalises on milkweed plants throughout the garden. This engaging experience is perfect for nature lovers of all ages!
