Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Advance registration is recommended. Same-day registration will be available for $35 on a limited basis. Advance registration will close on Sunday, 11/9/25.

What is included with my conference ticket?

The conference fee covers admission to the keynote address and all oral and poster presentations, plus two optional field trips on Sunday, 11/16. Coffee, light breakfast, and an afternoon snack are provided. To keep fees low, lunch is not included; on-campus options are available for purchase.

What food and beverage options are available?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket includes locally-roasted coffee, a light breakfast, and afternoon snacks. Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. Lunch can be purchased on campus or brought from home. To minimize waste, we will not be serving bottled water; attendees should bring a refillable water bottle.

What are field trips?

New in 2025, we are excited to offer two optional field trips on Sunday, 11/16: a morning bird walk, and an afternoon mushroom foray. Field trips are included with your conference registration fee. Registrants will receive information on how to sign up after purchasing a conference ticket.

I am a presenter/sponsor/event volunteer. Do I need a ticket?

Presenters, sponsors, partners, event volunteers, and other individuals eligible for free event attendance will receive a promotional code for event registration via email. Please email monadnock.natural.history@gmail.com with any questions.

Is financial assistance available for attendance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, scholarships for conference attendance are available. Please contact monadnock.natural.history@gmail.com to request more information.

Is this event accessible?

Accepted Answer

All event spaces are wheelchair-accessible, and accessible parking is available. Accessible and gender-neutral bathrooms are available, and buildings have elevators and push-button-activated door controls. Microphones will be used for presentations.  For more information, please email us.

Are continuing education credits available?

Continuing education credits for attending this conference are available for foresters and natural resource professionals (4.0 SAF CFEs Category 1). For other professions, please email us at monadnock.natural.history@gmail.com. Certificates of attendance will be available as well.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the conference; please request cancellation via EventBrite. EventBrite fees are not refundable. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend, you may choose to donate your registration fee to the Monadnock Region Natural History Conference for future events.

Can I make an additional donation to this event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! The MRNHC continues to be a low-cost day of education and exploration thanks to generous donors. If you'd like to contribute to this and future events, please add a "Donation" ticket in the amount of your choosing to your registration.
