About This Event
You're not alone in this journey.
Parenting a child with special needs can feel isolating. Between therapy appointments, IEP meetings, and advocating for your child's needs, it's easy to lose sight of your own well-being and connection with other parents who truly understand your experience.
Mom's Circle is a supportive, judgment-free space where mothers can come together to share experiences, find community, and remember that they're not alone on this journey.
November Theme: "Connecting with Other Parents"
This first session is all about creating connection and building community. We'll explore:
- What brings us together as mothers in the special needs community
- The challenges and joys of finding your people
- What makes you feel most supported
- Creating a safe space to be seen and heard
What to Expect
Meaningful Connection
This 60-minute session creates space for authentic sharing and community building. Our focus is on supporting you as a whole person - not just in your parenting role.
Supportive Structure
Our session includes welcome time, simple stress-relief breathing techniques, facilitated discussion, and opportunities for peer support. Every element is designed to help you feel heard and supported.
Open Circle Format
No long-term commitment required! Attend when you can, skip when you need to. Each session stands alone while building community over time. Come to one session or come to them all - you're welcome either way.
This is Peer Support, Not Therapy
Mom's Circle is a facilitated peer support group. We're here to listen, share, and support each other through the wisdom that comes from lived experience. This is not therapy or medical advice - it's community.
About Say It Inc.
Say It Inc. is a neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and play-driven speech and language therapy clinic dedicated to supporting children and families in our community.
Our Mission
We believe the work of the child is play. That's why we embed therapeutic goals into your child's natural interests and rhythms - because that's how progress translates into real life. We don't drill or pressure. We follow the child's lead and build skills through connection, movement, joy, and curiosity.
Why We Work This Way
When therapy feels safe and motivating, children thrive. They retain more, they try more, and they speak more. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based, innovative, and developmentally respectful care that honors each child's unique journey.
A Teaching Practice
Say It Inc. is proud to partner with Ivy League universities and top graduate programs to train and mentor the next generation of clinicians. What we teach and what we do is grounded in the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Supporting the Whole Family
We recognize that when parents thrive, children thrive too. That's why we're expanding beyond traditional therapy sessions to offer support for the whole family - including Mom's Circle, a space dedicated to the mothers in our community who need connection and support.
Meet Your Facilitator: Elizabeth Soto-Baez, MS, CCC-SLP
Elizabeth Soto-Baez is SayIt's Lead Speech-Language Pathologist, bringing over 20 years of experience working with children and families in the special needs community. She understands the unique challenges parents face and is passionate about creating supportive spaces for families to connect and thrive.
As a licensed SLP and certified coach, Elizabeth brings both clinical expertise and deep understanding of the emotional journey of special needs parenting. She will facilitate our discussions, help everyone feel heard, and guide our group through simple stress-relief techniques - all while ensuring this remains a peer-support environment where your voices and experiences are centered.
