Do you love art? Do you love writing? How about combining your passion for both art forms?
MoMA Write in Response is a collective born from a desire to explore and engage in creative self-expression through writing in response to art. We meet monthly at the Museum of Modern Art for timed freewriting sessions inspired by selected artworks, where each member responds not only to their own chosen piece but also to those selected by fellow participants.
Afterward, we gather for a group discussion to share our work and uncover the diverse ways we interpret art. Our writings will be shared with the MoMA and the artists, providing both the museum and the artmakers with insight into the impact of their work (Please read the details below carefully before booking).
