Halloween means a lot to us at Rise, so does this iconic venue. We have missed it so much, and have been thrilled watching the new owners deep clean, paint - preserving all stickers - installing new safety mechanisms like sprinklers etc. It's so many improvements while maintaining the soul of the venue, and a majority of its staff from last year.
Now, get your caffeine pills ready, Jessie, it's time to party!! We are expanding this year's theme! 90s - of course - but also THE NAUGHTIES (2000s). So let your creativity run wild, you've got 20 years of culture that wasn't ruined by AI to choose from in your costume selection.
- ON STAGE 8:30-10:15: Legendary local cover band Kurt and the Loders have REUNITED for this party. "I think I might cry" was a text from their band when they determined Mohawk's reopening was worth getting the band back together,
- ON STAGE 10:30 - 12:00A: DJ Jiggle Jiggle has risen up from the No Fun Lo Fi Thurday night scene into one of the top dance party DJ's in Buffalo. Thrilled to have him along.
