This fundraiser event will be held on Saturday, February 16th from 10am-12pm in Birmingham, AL with special guests Hannah McMurphy, Miss Alabama USA 2019 and Kalin Burt, Miss Alabama Teen USA 2019.

This event is open to models of all ages, genders and experience levels. Each attendee will receive a runway lesson from professional model and former Miss AL USA, Tara Darby Rasheta, have their photo taken by Dallas-based, award winning Photographer, Radz Daswani, and enter into the photo challenge. Each model must register by purchasing a ticket and a parent/guardian may attend with them without purchasing a separate ticket.
The image that is retouched by the photographer to be used for the photo challenge (this is the same image that will also be released to you) is at the event organizer's discretion and will emailed to you in a high resolution digital file. If, at that time, you wish to order additional retouched images you will have the option to do so.
Models should arrive with natural, pretty makeup (models under 13 should NOT wear makeup) and have their hair naturally styled. Models are instructed to wear all black, all white or a compination of both black & white. Models will likely be shooting outdoors, so dress appropriately.
A panel of judges will be reviewing the images after the event and will determine the winner. The winner of the photo challenge will receive a $1000 valued prize package including a private Agency Placement Workshop from Model Makers Group, comp cards, a video comp card produced by Radz D. Photography and a gift certificate from Austen Dor.

Proceeds from this event will benefit A Model Patient. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to serving women around the country who are facing breast cancer. It’s a woman-to-woman, grassroots approach in order to positively and directly impact patients. A Model Patient was founded by Tara Darby Rasheta (professional model and Miss Alabama USA 2004) as she was facing her own breast cancer battle at the age of thirty-five. The outpouring of love and support she received from her community inspired her to start this charity.

Will hair and makeup be provided at the event?
No, models should arrive camera-ready.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Models of all ages are encouraged to attend. Each model may enter the event with 1 parent or guardian if required.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is limited parking at the event space. We will direct you to parking lots, but please watch signs carefully.
What can I bring into the event?
Models should arrive camera-ready, but do not need to bring any other items into the eventspace.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a printed list of all registered models.

On your registration you should like the name of the model and parent attending the event.
