Model Classes to advance your knowledge, skillset, and confidence.

Model Icon is offering model classes open to aspiring & established models to perfect their craft, advance their knowledge, and confidence.

The following classes are available for modeling and personal development. If you sign up for 2 or more sets of classes there are discounts available but you must reach out to 815 914 8602. To save on ticketing fees or bundle offers reach out to Model Icon at 815 914 -8602. Only group classes are sold on eventbrite. To inquire for the additional one on one training (that takes place in conjunction with each 4 week course) you must text Sherrie Gearheart at 815 914 8602.

All classes (group and the one on one sessions) are taught online on zoom. Highspeed internet, a webcam/phone, or laptop (with webcam) are all necessary in order to join. Payment plans are accepted.

4 Week Posing Class
We offer Saturday posing classes where models will explore and practice couture posing, photography posing, lifestyle posing, and more. Open to all experience levels.
*Participants can choose to sign up for just the group classes and may add in additional one on one sessions with Sherrie Gearheart if looking for additional support of an experienced coach that has traveled the world as a model. Group classes cover the fundamentals and the foundation of knowledge. One on one classes is where the magic happens and where the model works with the instructor on their specific needs when it comes to developing the necessary skillset. One on one classes happen during week-nights (we can also book week days if needed).GROUP CLASS SCHEDULE: Classes occur Saturday, Nov 8th at 10am EST, Saturday Nov 15th at 10am EST, Saturday, Nov 22nd at 10am EST, and Saturday, Nov 29th at 1pm EST. Group classes last 1-2 hours on zoom. Instructor makeup days (if emergencies occur): Saturday, Dec 6th at 10am EST, and Saturday, Dec 13th at 10am EST, and Saturday, Dec 20th at 10am EST. 4 Week Advanced Walk Class
This course is only open to those that have walked in one or more Model Icon fashion shows (as they are familiar with routine work) and have worked with Sherrie Gearehart for 4-8 weeks one on one in the initial stage 1 and/or stage II of the high end runway walk training. If this is you and you qualify to join, you will be exploring ways to further develop the highend walk previously learned and begin to turn that walk into multiple walks so you are ready for multiple designers. Classes will take place Sunday nights. *Participants can choose to sign up for just the group classes and may add in additional one on one sessions with Sherrie Gearheart if looking for additional support of an experienced coach that has traveled the world as a model. Group classes cover the fundamentals and the foundation of knowledge. 4 Week Routine Modeling Class
This course is open to models looking to advance their routine repertoire. Intermediate and advanced skills will also be covered with multiple ways to enter the stage, exit the stage, how to handle unique stage set ups (like triangle, square, theatre), how to work with different garments, and of course different routines will be covered weekly. Group classes take place Sunday evening. *Participants can choose to sign up for just the group classes and may add in additional one on one sessions with Sherrie Gearheart if looking for additional support of an experienced coach that has traveled the world as a model. Group classes cover the fundamentals and the foundation of knowledge. 4 Week Leadership Academy Classes
This course dives into how to build your brand, how to find your purpose in life, how to book appearances, how to strengthen your public speaking skills, and how to get into the media. This is perfect for those wanting to make their mark in the world by making the world a better place. This class is perfect for those that want to start a passion project, want to start a non profit or simply volunteer for one, those that want to be seen for something that matters, for pageantry contestants, for models wanting to do more, etc. Each class is held Monday night. This class includes a 54 page digital workbook. Grab your notebook and pen, you have lots to learn. GROUP CLASS SCHEDULE: offered Monday nights on the following dates: Monday, Nov 24th at 9pm EST, Monday, Dec 1st at 9pm EST, one week break, Monday, December 15th at 9pm EST, and Monday, Dec 22nd at 9pm EST. 4 Week Mock Interview Training
Mock interviews help prep for many opportunities: prep for your media interview, your next speaking engagement/press conference, a pageant, or other future job interview. This is a unique journey as participants will have the opportunity to sit in other mock interviews as an observer to learn what it takes to interview well, they have an opportunity to judge mocks, and to sit in the hotseat. Classes take place Monday and/or Tuesday nights.
Monday nights classes run from 8pm EST to 9pm EST. Tuesday nights are from 6pm to 8pm EST. Dates:
