To participate, please reserve a time slot by booking a ticket. Be sure to make note of the time you’ve selected. Arriving 5 minutes early will help keep things running smoothly.

What to Prepare:

• A 1-minute monologue of your choice.
• Be ready to work with our directing students for about 10 minutes as they offer adjustments and feedback.

About the Class:

Setting the Stage: Introduction to Directing in TheatreThis six-week course covers the theory and practice of stage directing, including script analysis, casting, actor collaboration, and staging fundamentals. This mock casting call is a practical component of the class, giving students real-world experience working with actors instead of just theorizing about directing. Thank you for helping support our students growth!

The class also involves collaboration with writers and actors from the Green Shirt Studio community to ensure students gain hands-on, practical skills.
