This in-person workshop is designed specifically for adults over 40, busy professionals, and anyone navigating past injuries who wants to reclaim strength, balance, and confidence in their bodies.
Guided by Laura Armenta, a global somatic movement and wellness expert with 40 years of professional experience, you’ll explore techniques that empower your body to move efficiently, safely, and joyfully. Laura has trained professional dancers, acrobats, athletes, and recreational movers, bringing an unmatched depth of knowledge in functional fitness and performing arts to every session.
In this beginner-to-intermediate level workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Unlock hip mobility and protect your knee joints
- Walk with proper alignment and reduce tension
- Strengthen your body for everyday tasks
- Enhance posture and prevent injuries
- Understand the vital relationship between mobility and strength
The session includes guided exercises, hands-on corrections, small group interaction, and printed modules for you to reference at home.
