Overview

Join WE Bike NYC for a virtual, follow-along mobility workshop using a foam roller.

Riding a bike is great exercise, but cumulative stress from poor posture, repetitive motion, poor movement patterns, and muscle imbalance can cause inflammation and sore muscles. This workshop will introduce movements that re-energize our bodies to recover from the stress of a long session on the bike saddle.

The workshop, taught by a certified Movement, Fitness, & Rehab Coach, covers cycling-specific movements including foam rolling for myofascial reactivation of hips and legs, stretching your chest and shoulders as well as relaxing the tense muscles in your back, and full body stretches for relaxation.

Equipment needed: Foam Roller, a towel (or yoga block), and an exercise/yoga mat.
