Solving problems in the mobility and automotive space is one of the most compelling reasons for DLT adoption around the world. DLTs are also the right solution for enabling new innovation that will make our lives simpler, cities more livable, and businesses better able to meet the needs of their customers.

In this presentation, Mat Yarger, Jens Munch Lund-Nielsen, and Dan Simerman will give an introduction to the DLT technology being developed by the IOTA Foundation and show real-world use-cases of how DLTs are being applied to solve current issues and drive innovation, with a focus on the automotive, supply chain, and digital asset utilization.

Speaker Bios

Jens Munch Lund-Nielsen is Head of Global Trade & Supply Chains and has a background in international shipping and business development. Building DLT solutions with governments and corporate partners and advisor to joint industry initiatives such as the World Economic Forum, UK Parliament, the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation and others.

Dan Simerman is an investor and technical product manager well versed in consumer psychology, digital assets and open source software development. Dan has a history of building software for Fortune 50 financial institutions, multinational media companies and strategic consulting firms. As Head Of Financial Relations at the IOTA Foundation, Dan's goal is to support technology for a new type of open infrastructure, one where people and devices can seamlessly exchange data freely, safely and securely in a digital world.

Mathew Yarger is the Head of Smart Cities and is responsible for developing strategy and solutions around the use of data with DLT based innovations that enable flexible and privacy centric data and value transfer. Mathew served as a US Army Combat Veteran, Cyber Security Operations Planner, & Digital Forensics professional for the Department of Defense prior to joining the IOTA Foundation.
