When complications arise, or our pregnancies and labor don't go the way we envisioned, it can have us feeling out of control. Stuck. Like our experiences, our bodies, aren't our own.
But our bodies are ours. And no matter what happened, they STILL belong to us. By sharing our birth stories with our collective community, we not only reclaim our narrative and our bodies, but we reclaim our maternal health. We heal. And we help heal each other.
