Welcome to MNPS STEAM Night: Space Explorers!

Have you ever wondered how the sciences and arts mix? Join us for an exciting evening of space-themed STEAM activities at The Parthenon that connect to our collections. Come learn about the Antikythera Mechanism, join a Star Talk with an astronomer, and more space-themed fun! This event is from 4:30 PM- 6:30 PM.

Special STEAM Night Tours:

5 PM- Star Talk with Vanderbilt Astronomer- Erika Grundstrom
6 PM - Museum Tour with an archaeologist who has lived and worked in Greece

This event is FREE for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) students, staff, and faculty— and their entire families!

Simply inform museum staff you are a MNPS family for free admission to STEAM Night. If you are not a part of MNPS, this event is included with the price of admission.

Where is the parking for the Parthenon?

Parking is available in the lot next to the Parthenon and in other lots throughout Centennial Park. The park might be busy depending on the weather, so we recommend leaving a little extra time for parking.

Where is the entrance to the Parthenon?

The Parthenon's entrance is located on the lower level, on the side near the lake.

Do I have to pay museum admission for this event?

This event is FREE for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) students, staff, and faculty— and their entire families! Simply inform museum staff you are a MNPS family for free admission. If you not a part of MNPS, the event is included with the cost of admission.
