On August 4th 5-7 p.m., join zero waste and environmental justice advocates, community members, and decision makers to share your feedback on the future of zero waste in Minnesota! The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is currently working with Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) to create a report of Minnesota’s current waste system and the strategies/policies that would be needed to divert 90% of our waste away from incinerators and landfills. As part of creating that report, the MPCA and RRS want to hear directly from Minnesotans on what our zero waste future should look like!
This is a hybrid event - if you’re unable to join us in person, you’re welcome to join via zoom! Attendees will have an opportunity to share thoughts on what zero waste solutions Minnesota should implement to divert waste away from incinerators and landfills, and how decision makers should engage with community on zero waste decisions moving forward.
Food and childcare will be provided!
