The theme of this year's MLK Day at The Wright, "We Who Believe in Freedom" explores and honors Dr. King's commitment to justice, equality, and peace, The day features a series of ticketed and free events that provide activities for every age. As we commemorate Dr. King's contributions, we’ll embrace our shared responsibility to promote justice and equality, and reaffirm our collective commitment to carrying forward his legacy.

Join us for a Full Day of Events

From dynamic conversations with activists and community leaders to film screenings, prayer breakfasts, and more, here are the ways we're reflecting on Dr. King's legacy in 2026. Doors open at 7:00 AM for the Prayer Breakfast and 10:00 AM for General Admission and the MLK Jr. Day's events.

MLK JR. DAY PRAYER BREAKFAST & PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Enjoy delicious food and an inspirational program featuring the daughters of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz - See our exciting agenda and speaker bios below for program details.
• Valet Parking available. Valet and coat check will close at 12:00 PM.
• Food Service ends promptly at 9:00 AM.
• Purchase tables of 10 for $550.00 or individual seating for $60.00.
• Table seat purchasers will be required to provide a guest list. The table host will receive a separate email to provide this information.
• Individual seating patrons can pre-select their seating choices. If you desire to sit with others, please pay for your seat reservations at the same time during the same session.

MLK JR. DAY KEYNOTE PROGRAM ONLY (No breakfast option)

• Can't join us for breakfast? A limited number of seats are available for the program, conversation, and keynote speech only.
• Program only seats are general admission at $30.00 each.
• Seating for program only patrons will begin at 9:15 AM in the General Motors Theater.
• Valet Parking available. Valet and coat check will close at 12:00 PM.
