Misunderstood Rodents- Beaver and the Ecosystem

Join us for an exciting exploration into the world of beavers! In this hands-on program, we’ll dive into fascinating facts with graphs, stunning photos, and a dynamic display, all focused on these amazing creatures. You’ll learn about their crucial role in the ecosystem, why we need to co-exist with them, and discover just how cool they truly are! Guest Presenter: Nick Hagan, The Beaver Institute.

Location: Elaine T. Valente Open Space Trailhead

Time: 11:00am-1:00pm

Participants: 15 maximum

Audience: All ages, guardians must accompany participating youth

  • Adults required for youth participation

Suggested Gear: Water, sunscreen, snacks, proper clothing
