Mission82 - Airborne Troop Carrier Day.

On October 25th 2025 an event will be held at former RAF Langar in Nottinghamshire to raise funds for Mission82, a memorial project to erect three memorials to ten members of the US 82nd Airborne Division who were killed or died during their time here in England. Several key speakers from both the UK and US will provide presentations on several subjects relating to Airborne and Troop Carrier forces in WWII, including: Adam Berry, Richard Chancellor, Martin K.A. Morgan, Sue and Jack Talley. More TBA. There will also be displays of uniforms and equipment, as well as display by local history groups. Lunch will be provided as part of your ticket price.
