What age is appropriate for this workshop?

Ages 10 and up, if working independently. Kids under 10 are welcome if a caregiver is present (note that a ticket would also need to be purchased for care giver). Fine motor skills are an asset, so the workshop would likely be challenging for younger children.

Is this workshop accessible?

The workshop will be located on the second floor of Legacy Greens, and there is no elevator. Please email jordan@legacygreens.com if you are interested and have an accommodation request. Where do I find parking?

Free 2 hour parking on King Street. Paid parking in the Duke Street Parking Garage. On Saturdays, you can also park in the Scotia Bank parking lot across the street. The nearest surface parking lot is located on Ontario Street and Halls Lane (behind Coven Market).

Come make the tiniest little gourds you’ve ever seen at Legacy Greens!

In this 2 hour workshop with Miniature Veg, you will learn some of the basics of creating miniature foods out of polymer clay. Together we will mix clay to achieve realistic colours, shape the pieces and add details using clay & tools, and bake them together.

You will take home a tiny basket full of miniature squash, pumpkins and gourds, and the skills to continue exploring polymer clay miniatures at home! All supplies will be provided.

Accessibility note: This venue is on the 2nd floor, please note there is 1 flight of stairs to access the venue. Polymer clay miniatures can be difficult to create with long nails. This class is best suited for folks ages 10+.

This workshop is hosted by Kiana Simmons of Miniature Veg. Workshop is hosted by Legacy Greens in their second floor space (no elevator).
