About this event

Arts • Ballet

This haunting production follows the story of a virtuous peasant girl named Giselle who falls in love with Albrecht, a nobleman in disguise. After learning Albrecht’s identity, Giselle’s heart fails her, and she becomes a wili, joining the sisterhood of spirits who have all died of broken hearts. The romantic-era ballet is both lively and energetic as well as ethereal and ghost-like in its portrayal of heartbreak and forgiveness. This performance will give attendees a behind-the-scenes look into the production as they can hear from the Artistic Director and dancers, and ask questions about the performance.

THIS PERFORMANCE IS FOR SCHOOL GROUPS AND SENIOR CENTERS ONLY! To pay via check, please call 410-224-5644.
