An afternoon for steady hands and slower breathing. Scissors, paste, torn sheet-music edges, and the quiet pleasure of making something beautiful with people who understand why small things matter. We’ll be turning petite papier-mâché Christmas tree boxes into keepsakes—layered with old-world imagery, holly and berries, hymn-book pages, and thoughtful detail earned by time and touch.

Not a quiet monastery, and definitely not craft-store mayhem. It’s the happy middle: a room full of humans doing their best, brushes in hand, children concentrating like tiny artisans, a little noise, a little laughter, and the kind of gentle chaos that feels like Christmas in the making.

What we’ll be doing

Decoupaging miniature tree-shaped boxes with vintage Christmas papers and festive elements, finished with a frosted shimmer glaze worthy of a holiday mantlepiece.

What’s included

All materials, guidance, hot cocoa, and a seat at a table where time slows. You’ll leave with a finished piece ready to hold a tiny gift, a written prayer, a wish for the coming year, or a touch of Christmas enchantment safely kept.
