About this event

Hobbies • DIY

Bring tiny food to life in this ceramic miniature workshop in Los Angeles! In this hands-on class, you’ll sculpt, hand-build, and paint your own bite-sized, realistic mini pastries, breads, and sweets from clay.

Miniature ceramic foods have a rich history rooted in Japan’s long tradition of ultra-realistic food replicas, called sampuru, which started in the early 1900s to display dishes outside restaurants.
Today, this art form has evolved into playful, detailed miniatures that celebrate creativity, precision, and fun.In this pottery workshop, you’ll create your own tiny treats — think croissants, waffles, pizza slices that look so realistic you might wish they were edible!

Perfect for beginners, friends, or a creative date, this miniature food class brings a modern, hands-on twist to a delightful Japanese-inspired art form.
