About this event

Health • Personal health

A gathering with intentions of connection and eco healing in Chicago’s urban nature sanctuary, Big Marsh. A pause to restore from the stress of everyday life in a covid conscious space. During this time we will mindfully explore with our senses - listening during a mindful silent walk, learning about the plants and land, and ending with a small circle ritual of acknowledgment and healing.

This is a covid conscious event that centers on community care. We ask that you wear high quality masks (Kn95 or N95). Please do not show up if you have any symptoms of illness or have been around others who are symptomatic.

LOCATION

Directions and more information about Big Marsh here: https://bigmarsh.org

Parking - There is plenty of parking in the lot on site.

Porta potties are located on site, a short walk from the parking lot.

Location & Accessibility

The walk is designed to be lower impact. It covers around a mile with mostly paved trails. There may also be some chipped unpaved trails and grassy areas.

Feel free to bring a camping chair, easily hiked with, or a blanket to sit on as we discover a place to sit in circle together in the park.
