Learn and Practice Mindfulness

Please join our weekly Mindfulness Practice Lab for a brief lesson, guided practice, and optional discussion. We’re training our minds to be calmer and more present, aware, attentive, and intentional — and to deepen the critical mental and emotional skills that improve our personal well-being and professional performance.

What We'll Explore

Each week, we’ll explore a traditional mindfulness principle or skill grounded in modern neuroscience and real-life application. Sessions include:

  • A brief teaching that introduces a key insight or practice
  • A guided mindfulness practice to strengthen mental and emotional skills
  • An optional group reflection to share experiences and connect insights to life and work

Over time, we’ll work on topics such as stress regulation, attention control, emotional resilience, mindset shifts, and self-awareness, building the inner capabilities that matter most in today’s world.

Whether you're just getting started or returning to deepen your practice, this Lab is designed to be a welcoming space for learning, community, and meaningful personal growth.

Robyn Beckman is a Certified Mindfulness Instructor and Coach with a 35-year professional background in information technologies analysis, training, and implementation. Facing career burnout, ADHD, anxiety, and depression, Robyn turned to mindfulness in 2012. What began as a counselor’s suggestion quickly became a life-changing journey. Through daily practice, she discovered greater patience, emotional resilience, and the ability to pause and respond thoughtfully. This profound transformation inspired her to study the science and practice of mindfulness more deeply and to begin sharing it with others.

Robyn completed teacher training through the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness and is certified to teach the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. She later completed a 400-hour Mindfulness Teacher Certification with Mindfulness Northwest. Today, she leads weekly drop-in mindfulness classes and offers one-on-one coaching for those seeking a personalized approach. Her daily practice includes sitting meditation, mindful walking, and silent retreats. Robyn’s teaching is grounded in personal experience and driven by a heartfelt commitment to help others learn how to meditate, build sustainable practices, and experience the powerful benefits of mindfulness in everyday life.
