Join this guided outdoor journaling session to learn how to slow down, tune into your emotions, and gain clarity through nature-inspired reflection. We will go through a grounding and sensory awareness exercise, then do a journaling prompt with a reflection exercise.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Describe the purpose and benefits of nature journaling as a tool for mindfulness, emotional awareness, and personal insight.
- Engage in a grounding and sensory awareness practice to become more present in their bodies and connected to the natural environment.
- Identify and articulate your emotions through metaphors and imagery inspired by nature.
- Express inner thoughts and feelings creatively using guided journaling prompts, free-writing, drawing, or doodling.
- Reflect on their journaling experience to gain personal clarity and deepen self-understanding.
- Explore ways to integrate nature journaling into daily or weekly routines as a sustainable practice for emotional well-being and self-care.
Please bring your own journal or you are welcome to purchase one from the instructor for $10 at the beginning of the workshop.
