Mindful Listening Edition: Bring Your Own Vinyl!

Mindful Listening Edition: Bring Your Own Vinyl!

By Cohoba

Overview

Join us for an afternoon of art, music, and connection as we navigate difficult conversations re: immigration raids, racism, and psychedelia

Cohoba is a psychedelic-positive nonprofit focused on establishing equitable, evidence-based community care. We are a team of licensed mental health therapists, artists, and activists dedicated to cultural stewardship and the flowering of Charlotte's healing arts programming, with special emphasis on amplifying voices that go unheard in the modern psychedelic movement.

Please join us for Bring Your Own Vinyl - Mindful Listening Edition! Attendees can expect an afternoon of community, connection, and artistic expression as we navigate difficult conversations around psychedelia and the current sociopolitical climate, with focus on the immigration raids and how racism continues to show up in our city and within the psychedelic/spiritual/wellness/arts scene. Bring your own vinyl if possible, both to share your favorite tunes with the group and to use during an collective art exercise (if you don’t have a vinyl for the art portion, we will have some available for the group.)

Guests will arrive to VAPA during its monthly Open Studios event. Cohoba is located on the lower level. Cohoba therapists will be present to provide a safe container for conversations on all things psychedelia.
