   - You exercise, and you eat right for a few months.
   - You’re excited that you dropped some weight. Wahoo!
   - But then wham! You’re sitting on the couch binging on a bag of potato chips wondering, "What happened?"
   - And your weight returns. But there's a better way to deal with food.

And that's why we're excited to share the Mindful Eating Program. We are...
   - Jennifer Carino, a weight loss acupuncturist and meditation instructor.
   - William Song, a weight loss hypnotherapist and author of the book, Heaing and Hypnosis.

We have blended the "outer game" with the "inner game" of eating.
By leveraging both your physical and emotional/mental skills, you create a more peaceful and healthy relationship with food.

This isn't a "lose weight fast" program. It's about something deeper.
Many people know that one key to losing weight is to eat less, but they can't make themselves eat less. Why not?
   - Because a subconscious part of them forces them to overeat.
   - And that part is often too strong, so it overcomes their logical self.

   - That's why it's important to address all aspects of weight loss, including the physical, emotional, and mental skills.
   - In other words, it's not about weight loss. It's about building a healthier lifestyle.

Ironically, by focusing on lifestyle rather than weight, you reach a tipping point.
Though it may take some work to reach that tipping point, once you reach it, losing weight becomes natural and long lasting.
   - Our program helps you start that journey toward that tipping point.

Q. "I've tried losing weight many times. How is this program any different?"
Most people who try to lose weight focus on taking action, action, action.
   - They restrict calories, exercise more, and are very disciplined.

Q. "Why can't that level of mental effort be sustained?"
Focusing on action first is like building walls and a roof of a house without first building a proper foundation.
   - Trying to force yourself to lose weight relies on will power, and will power is temporary and takes too much effort.

We focus on building the long-term foundation that supports long-term weight loss.

   - To truly lose weight, you need knowledge, the ability to apply that knowledge, and the ability to replace old habits with healthier habits.
   - By helping your subconscious mind feel more peaceful, your relationship with food will become more peaceful.

Q. "Once I'm at peace with food, will I still enjoy food?"
   - Yes. And you'll 
have more fun when you're in control instead of food controlling you.

Q. "What's in the program?"
You will learn nutrition and other body-related topics to build a strong physical foundation for weight loss.

You will learn how to create a more peaceful relationship with your subconscious mind. And that means you'll be more peaceful with food.

And you'll learn how to replace unhealthy habits with better habits, because once a new habit is in place, you won't need to use so much energy to keep it going.

Q. "Will this program teach me all I need to know? Will I be totally transformed?"
Four weeks of learning is probably not enough.
   - Instead, think of this program as an important step in your journey toward a truly peaceful relationship with food.
   - You'll learn many of the basics, and that will likely save you a lot of time and effort in your journey.

Q. "Will I have to share my life story during class?"
No. Focus on learning and practicing during class.

Q. "Will there be homework assignments?"
Yes, short ones, because we know you have a busy life.

Q. "Will I have support from classmates or you in between classes?"
Yes and yes. If you have difficulty, please call us.

Q. "What's the class schedule?"
We'll meet on four Wednesdays from 7:00 PM-8:30 PM. Light snacks will be served.

March 2, 9.

Q. "What happens if I need to miss a class?"
No worries. We'll have an audio recording of each class. But please do all you can to attend. Your success is worth it.

Q. "What's the cost?"
It's $400.
   - Private sessions are available at a discount during the program.
