Life is full of stresses and challenges. Children who can take on challenges in the face of life's stresses have an advantage. Join us to learn everyday ways to promote Taking on Challenges and help prepare children for school, friends and life.

Training Objectives:

1 .By the end of this session, the learner will Describe how the Life Skill of Taking on Challenges calls upon Executive Function.

2 .By the end of this session, the learner will Illustrate an understanding of the difference between healthy stress and toxic stress.

3 . By the end of this session, the learner will Restate the importance of children learning how to manage stressful experiences.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
