Prerequisites
- Expert level interpretation of display standards (aspect ratio, resolution, refresh rates, color profiles)
- Intermediate level comprehension of video signal (frame rates, codecs, bit depth, HDCP, EDID)
- Novice level comprehension of computer networks
- Novice level understanding of image processing
At the end of training:
- You will be able to operate Millumin for live event environments
- You will know how to deploy and use the main features of Millumin
- You will develop the skills required to become a Certified Millumin Operator
Training Scope
Duration: 2 days
Schedule: 9AM-5PM
Assessment: Practical evaluation using a simulated real world scenario.
Frequently asked questions
We will provide computers running the preferred version of Millumin. You, however, may bring your own laptop (Mac only) with Millumin pre-installed. Our team does not provide technical support for your computer though if you choose this option.
Yes! Those that pass the practical evaluation will receive a certification from the Millumin team in France through an LMG facilitator. Certificates are delivered via email after completion of the event. Please allow at least a week for delivery.
Yes! We pride ourselves on making our technical training hands-on and inclusive. While there will be moments of demonstration and discussion we pivot dynamically to hands-on and back throughout both days.
The planned schedule for this training is 9AM-5PM with an hour break for lunch usually around 12PM.
For this training we keep the group size to a maximum of 10.
Yes—revisions to your practical evaluation are allowed if needed. The team from Millumin reviews submitted files for errors. Keep in mind, if you need to do a revision, you will need your own computer (Apple only for Millumin) as notes are given after the completion of the event.
