LIVE Sales Success Stories Podcast Episode with Trong Nguyen

For June, we are hosting a special live interview with Scott Ingram of the Sales Success Stories Podcast as he interviews Trong Nguyen about how you bring down enterprise level, whale-sized deals! Trong will share what it takes to get to the top in true enterprise sales roles like he has at Dell, Microsoft and now ServiceNow. In the interview, they will explore how Trong breaks through to create multi-million dollar deals in some of the largest organizations and how to negotiate a tough global enterprise deal.

Even though this is a LIVE podcast recording, it will be an interactive session and we will definitely be taking questions from the audience about Trong's strategies and tactics.

TRONG NGUYEN - Regional Services Manager, ServiceNow

Trong has more than twenty years of experience in sales, marketing, and consulting with the world’s largest enterprises across various market segments, including healthcare, telecommunications, insurance, and financial services. Trong honed his craft at Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM, and Dell. Most recently Trong transformed Microsoft’s healthcare and financial services industries by helping clients move to the cloud. Trong earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Western University as well as an MBA from The University of Chicago.

An accomplished blogger and author, Trong can also be found indulging in his favorite hobbies that include bacon-frying, coaching fantasy football, and playing full contact table tennis. Most recently Trong took up Karate and Muay Thai Kickboxing because he got tired of being bullied by his three rascal kids.

SCOTT INGRAM - Account Director, Relationship One

By day Scott Ingram is an Account Director at Relationship One where he works with 15 of their largest (primarily Fortune 500) clients on their path to success with the Oracle Marketing Cloud. This is a natural role for Scott having previously worked at Eloqua pre-IPO and through their acquisition by Oracle. Scott has also worked in sales roles with Certain, Bazaarvoice and ADP.

When he’s not hard at work selling he’s busy learning from the best of the best as the host of the Sales Success Stories Podcast. On that show, he ONLY interviews #1 and top 1% quota carrying individual contributors like himself.

Scott lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and two daughters and can often be found on his Peloton bike at 5 am.
