In this session you will get an introduction to both Microsoft Flow and PowerApps and learn how they work with SharePoint. We will discuss the native integration of Flow and PowerApps with SharePoint as well as some additional features of both products. You will leave this session with an understanding of how to use Flow to automate your SharePoint business processes and how to use PowerApps to create robust, mobile-friendly forms in SharePoint. What you will learn: The basics about Flow and PowerApps How Flow and PowerApps can be used with SharePoint How Flow compares with SharePoint Designer workflows and PowerApps compares to InfoPath forms.

 

Melissa Hubbard, Microsoft MVP, Office 365 and SharePoint Consultant, PMP and Project Manager/Business Analyst at WithumSmith+Brown (Remote speaker) Melissa is a Microsoft MVP and an Office 365 and SharePoint consultant specializing in collaboration solutions and automating business processes. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) experienced in project management and quality assurance as well as implementing SharePoint and Office 365 solutions. User adoption, governance, and training are topics she is especially passionate about!

 

April Dunnam, Office 365/SharePoint Consultant and Developer at ThriveFast, L.L.C. (Remote speaker) April started her career as an IT Intern at Cherokee Casino. She was on rotation in the casino’s many IT departments when she was assigned to the Development Team which was focused on a SharePoint implementation. It was there she found her niche and a passion for development and began to focus her efforts on C# and SharePoint. She went on to complete dual degrees in MIS and Marketing and won a job at a telecom firm where she quickly worked her way up to SharePoint Developer. April has been owner and lead consultant at ThriveFast for that past 6 years . When April isn’t working on client solutions, she can be found reading up on the latest technologies blogs and routinely participating in local user groups and professional conferences. Oh and you might catch her singing karaoke on the weekends too.
