Take one or more of these no-cost Microsoft Excel workshops and incorporate Excel into your daily work life!

About this Event

All sessions are held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

These courses will be taught using Excel 2016 but applicable to older versions which may not have some of the newer features.

Excel Beginner - January 14 | via Live Zoom

This course will take you from the very beginning (opening a spreadsheet), to entering and working with data, to finishing with how to save and share. It’s everything you need to know to get started with Excel - entering text and numbers, learning basic formatting and customizing, modifying worksheets, entering excel functions, and more.

Excel Intermediate - February 22 | via Live Zoom

Excel Intermediate will expand your Excel knowledge to new horizons. You are going to discover a whole range of skills and techniques that will become a standard component of your everyday use of Excel. In this course, you will learn how to print worksheets, use excel templates, work/integrate multiple worksheets, apply conditional formatting, create charts and more.

Excel Advanced - February 25 | via Live Zoom

Learn the advanced functions of Microsoft Excel including sorting and filtering, creating subtotals, generating PivotTables to summarizing and analyzing your data. Discover how to create pivot table reports, show values as percentages, filter pivot table data and much more.

Excel Formulas & Functions - March 4 | via Live Zoom

Whether you are an office worker, or a small business owner using Excel to keep track of your finances, Excel functions can be very important time savers. They also enhance your ability to create better performing spreadsheets. You will learn how to find the functions you need from each of the categories and gain familiarity with their use. You will also gain an understanding of 3D formulas, statistical and financial functions, logical and text functions and more.

Excel PivotTables - March 25 | via Live Zoom

PivotTables can help you sort and sift through large data sets to focus quickly on just the data elements that matter most to your specific needs. In just one fast-paced and informative 4-hour training session, you will learn how to use PivotTables to sort your data more efficiently, create multiple customized reports in a few easy steps and gain a powerful new tool to help you make better business decisions. Get tips on the easiest way to group your data - when you use the power of PivotTables, you will be saving time and making your job easier!

About your instructor:

Cathy Horwitz has over 30 years of experience in classroom and virtual training and has been an instructor of Microsoft Office since 1989. Cathy is proficient in all levels of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Cathy holds a degree in Psychology and a Master in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Human Resources.
