About this event

Family & Education • Children & Youth

Imagine life as some of the smallest, but mightiest living things in the Bay Area: microbes! Join us at the EEC for an interactive activity to learn about some different microorganisms in the Bay Area, how they are impacted by climate trends, and how they cope with these changes.

All ages are welcome! We recommend bringing sun protection and layers, comfortable walking shoes, and a filled water bottle. Portable toilets and handwashing stations will be available.

This event is led by USFWS volunteer Sarada Rajamanickam with support from the San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society, the nonprofit Friends group supporting the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex, and the Santa Clara Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program.
