Join the MVC Coordinating Center for its spring collaborative-wide meeting focused on interdisciplinary collaboration, care transitions, alternative sites of care, and success stories from MVC's 10 years of partnership with healthcare providers. The meeting will feature unblinded data, presentations on quality improvement strategies, a poster session, networking opportunities, and insights about improving value-based healthcare.

Presentations will highlight unblinded MVC data, inter-organizational partnerships, care team collaboration to improve patient outcomes, and supporting care transitions. Attendees will learn to more effectively and efficiently utilize MVC's claims data to inform patient-centered quality improvement opportunities at their respective healthcare organizations. After this meeting, the following patient outcomes are expected to be improved: care transitions and post-discharge support, readmissions, patient experience, treatment adherence, and patient education.

P4P & Unblinded MVC Data

The MVC team will share updates on team activity, including the MVC Component of the BCBSM P4P Program. MVC will also share unblinded data based on its new ED-based episodes.

Innovative Strategies

Guest speakers will share insights on a variety of innovative strategies that successfully helped sites to impact care transitions, leverage partnerships, and improve the value of care. For the full agenda, visit https://michiganvalue.org/upcoming-events/.

Peer Networking

Attendees will have several opportunities to network with peers from hospitals, physician organizations, and Collaborative Quality Initiatives (CQIs) from across the state of Michigan. The event will include a breakout session as well as a poster session.

Poster Session

MVC is actively seeking poster submissions to encourage collaboration among attendees. Posters will feature success stories from the last decade as well as the excellent quality improvement work happening at member hospitals and physician organizations. Posters will be on display in key locations during the meeting with dedicated time for viewing. They might showcase first-hand experiences with quality improvement, related research, or the implementation of interventions and best practices.

Presenters should print and bring their own posters. MVC will provide your assigned poster location(s) upon check-in and supply materials approved by the venue for set-up

Submissions should highlight quality improvement or impact stories from your organization; however, they can be on topics unrelated to MVC conditions or data, authored by clinicians and non-clinicians alike, or presentations already shared at a recent conference or event
