Overview

Join us for an interactive session on emergency response strategies with the Miami-Dade County CERT Program!


City of Miami Gardens Councilwoman Katrina Baskin, in partnership with the Miami-Dade County CERT Program, presents a Basic Emergency Training Course to help residents prepare for real-life emergencies. This is one complete course with weekly classes every Thursday from October 2nd to November 13th, plus a final Saturday session on November 15th.

Participants will learn vital skills in disaster preparedness, fire safety, first aid, search and rescue, and more. One registration covers all dates, and attendees must complete all sessions to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Open to ages 18+, all abilities, and seniors welcome.
