About this event

Community • City & Town

Join us for a powerful gathering uniting interfaith leaders, community organizations, and advocates to build a stronger, more inclusive Metro Detroit. This is an opportunity to stand in solidarity, deepen relationships, and take meaningful steps toward safety, dignity, and respect for all. Together, we will engage in Power of Story and Power Mapping training and strategize together. As part of this day of collective action and learning, we will hold an outdoor Public Witness. We will lift up sacred texts from diverse faith traditions alongside powerful immigrant stories that speak to resilience, belonging, and the shared human yearning for safety and dignity. Through this embodied expression of solidarity, we will publicly affirm that our sacred, educational, and healing spaces must remain sanctuaries from fear and harm. This gathering reflects our unity across difference, a coalition of neighbors, advocates, and faith leaders standing together to protect one another, amplify our stories, and build a more just and inclusive Metro Detroit.
