About this event

  • 4 hours 30 minutes

Are you ready to take flight and share your sacred creative gifts?

Come prepared to sing, flow, and awaken your creative voice. This immersive half-day yoga and music retreat will connect movement and voice as a holistic practice, through which we can access our inner truth and birth our unseen ideas into the physical world.

Join multi-instrumentalist, voice therapist, and sound healer Liat Arochas, and yoga teacher Julia Cavalieri for an empowering blend of liberating practices designed to inspire creative expression and total embodiment.

The day will include:

  • Grounding meditation and breathwork for clarity and connection
  • Disappearing into sound: opening the voice through tonal frequencies and singing with sound bowls
  • Dynamic, expressive asana with an emphasis on subtle body awareness. As we move on the mat, we'll integrate ancient mantra + mudras, accompanied by a cathartic live music journey and sound bath savasana
  • Wake the Voice sound circle: chants for the chakras to access your divine potential

Meet your guides: Liat Arochas and Julia Cavalieri

Liat Arochas (Founder of Wake the Voice): As a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a professional background in speech pathology and behavioral sciences, Liat Arochas strives to find the balance between science and spirituality. As the owner and founder of Wake the Voice, she believes that we all have the power to heal through our voice – and that the live frequencies we create in our bodies are more powerful than any sound healing or outside source. Liat teaches therapeutic singing, where she guides clients to use their power, awaken and align, and rediscover their voice. Through the transformative effects of sound therapy and a commitment to holistic well-being, Wake The Voice empowers clients to build confidence, overcome obstacles, unlock their vocal potential, and create positive change in their lives and the world.

Julia Cavalieri (RYT200) believes this path of self-inquiry and exploration of spirit is life's most precious pursuit. As a teacher, she seeks to create vibrant and challenging, yet welcoming and accessible classes, with an environment that above all encourages radical self-expression, values total inclusion, and fosters loving community. As a devoted student of yoga philosophy, mythology, astrology, and humanities, Julia brings the "why" of yoga first and foremost to her classes. Offering a Hatha Vinyasa style, her training is rooted in Classical Yoga, and she shares a complete practice authentic in its heritage. Expect an upbeat and strengthening continuous flow of movement, anchored in the conscious and rhythmic flow of breath, transitioning to longer, deeper holds and mindful meditation.
