Menudo is an all-Latine improv team established in 2017 out of the LA indie improv community. Since the reopening of UCBTLA, Menudo has hosted monthly improv show like After Hours and Feliz Hour. Menudo begins a residency at The Shared Experience starting in January 2025.

1. Who can submit a team to perform at CLIF?

Any improv team, regardless of experience level, can submit to perform at CLIF. We welcome groups from all backgrounds and styles!

2. How do I submit my team?

Visit our Eventbrite page, click 'Reserve Your Spot', and fill out the submission form. You’ll need to provide your team’s name, details, and submission payment.

3. What happens after I submit my team?

Our selection committee will review all submissions. If your team is accepted, you’ll be notified with details about when and where you’ll perform. The Festival line-up will be released on April 1st.

4. Do I have to purchase a badge to perform?

Every member of an improv team must have a badge to perform. Performers are given a code that gives them a discounted badge. This badge allows you to access to perform and watch all shows.

6. What are the benefits of a VIP pass?

VIP passes include priority seating, exclusive festival swag, access to special VIP-only events during the festival, and early access to purchase improv workshops.

8. Can I purchase a badge even if I’m not performing?

Absolutely! Regular badges grant access to all shows, and VIP badges offer additional perks. You can also purchase tickets at the door (if available).

9. Will there be workshops at CLIF?

Yes! We’ll have workshops taught by experienced improvisers and comedy professionals. Details on workshop schedules and pricing will be announced soon.

7. When is the deadline for early bird pricing?

Early bird pricing ends on April 15, 2025. After that, prices will increase.
