MENTOR/GUEST Registration - FALL 2025 Edge4Vets Workshop Series in MA

WELCOME to Edge4Vets as a "Mentor/Guest."

Edge4Vets supports Military Service Personnel (including Veterans, National Guard, Active Duty and Transitioning Personnel and Spouses:)

WHERE/WHEN: Thursday, Nov 20 from 9:30am to 2:30pm. Boston Children's Hospital will host us for our next in-person workshop sessions.

As a "Mentor" you will be providing feedback to the veterans as the program teaches them how to become "job ready." This MENTOR ORIENTATION video (below) will show you how the program works and the role "workshop mentors" provide to assist vets in the learning process. As you see in the video there is no preparation you need to do, your role will be to listen, encourage the vets to get comfortable speaking and provide your feedback:

THREE STEPS to Career Success for Veterans:

1. On Nov 20 business leaders and HR reps (decision makers from our partner companies) will work with our vets in small-groups to help them identify strengths from the military, including Values and Skills, and translate them for the civilian workplace. We'll start participants on a process to create a personal PLAN4SUCCESS to express your strengths.

2. Following the session we'll give vets access to our the Edge4Vets online course for additional support. Through a series of short videos and exercises, the course guides them to refine their PLAN4SUCCESS from the workshop and finalize it before submittng it to earn a Certificate.

3. Also, we'll give all those who attend the workshop a list of the HR reps from our partner companies so they can line up interviews.
