Xi Omega is the first graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in the District of Columbia!

For more than a century, Xi Omega has exemplified exceptional sisterhood and exemplary service. Two Alpha Kappa Alpha founders were among the 20 visionaries who chartered the chapter in 1923. Through the years, Xi Omega has been home to AKA founders and three international presidents. Today, propelled by a membership of several hundred legacy-keepers, Xi Omega remains committed to uplifting lives and futures throughout the Washington, DC community.
