Menopause Cafe, York UK followed by a guest speaker

The Menopause Cafe is open to all (and I mean ALL), regardless of age or gender (I'd love to see some younger people and men there too). It is the opportunity to meet and speak with other people about anything menopause, in a safe and confidential environment. There is no agenda and you can come for as little or as much of the Cafe as you wish (most prefer to attend the whole session). Just come along and go with the flow!! Refreshments will be available so grab a cuppa and a biscuit and have a good 'ole natter. To give a feel for what to expect:

• A very warm welcome from your host awaits everyone who comes through the door.
• Grab a cuppa.
• Quick intro as to what the cafe is and is not.
• 3 rounds of 20 minute small group chats. Swapping tables each time is encouraged to maximise the number of people you get to have a natter with but its ok if you want to stay where you are. We stop for a refreshment top up after 2 rounds.
• Finish up with a thank you for coming and reflection on how you found the cafe.
• Home time, as one person said, 'feeling like a warrior'!!!!

This month, we also have a guest speaker event after the Cafe. Postponed from last month, Sharyn Coleman who is a Breathwork Teacher will start at 1pm. Definitely not one to miss!!!
