This training focuses on caregiving strategies, including positive physical approach and supportive communication, common challenges with dementia patients, such as fatigue, agitation, bathing, dressing, and sundowning, and some strategies for addressing them. You will also compare pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, learn about several non-pharmacological options, and get ideas for activities that people living with dementia might enjoy.
