About this event

Arts • Dance

Ecstatic StoryDance is a story narrated in multiple parts, with music mixed and mashed up to accompany the narrative throughout the multi-act structure.Come take part in an immersive journey where we meet, dance and play with Melody and a string, by the name of String, like many others of the same name.

"We find ourselves in a town not far from here called Middleville

In the town of Middleville, day after day, folk would toil without meaning. They would spend their time looking down at the task at hand, and joy was in short supply. Night after night, when their tasks were done they would close their eyes and slumber. If they dreamed, they didn’t remember, and if they remembered, they didn’t tell the tale.

Then there was Melody..."

Doors at 6, opening circle at 6:30, then narrative movement & play, then ecstatic story dance, then we end our story in a guided meditative experience through our imagination.

I look forward to taking you through this experience and seeing what truth comes through for us individually and as a community. See you lovely humans soon

ATTENDEES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO COME IN COSTUME: wear a onesie, where what you would if you were going to renn faire.. Just know the vibe of this is children's book/fantasy
