Do I need to sign up in advance?

Nope! Just show up, grab a seat, and get ready to play. Trivia starts at 6 PM, so arrive early to grab a good spot!

How many people can be on a team?

There is no minimum number of people for a team, but to keep things fair, we cap each team at 6 players—and only 6 people per table. This way, smaller teams aren’t at a disadvantage. Bring your best thinkers and let the trivia battle begin!

What kind of trivia questions can I expect?

Each week has four themed rounds, covering a mix of pop culture, history, music, movies, and more. If one round isn’t your strong suit, the next one might be your time to shine!

What are the prizes?

We award a $10 Mellow Mushroom gift card to the top team each round and a $50 gift card to the overall winner. Can’t stay all night? No problem—win a round, win a prize! During Checkers hockey season, the top team usually gets 4 hockey tickets!

Are there food and drink specials?

Yes! $4 draft beers all night long. Plus, Mellow Mushroom’s full menu of delicious pizzas, munchies, and cocktails is available!

Can I get a free answer before trivia starts?

Yep! Follow Game On Trivia on social media to get a free answer every Sunday at 2 PM—it might just give your team the winning edge!

Is there an age requirement?

Nope! Trivia is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to enjoy the $4 draft beer specials.

Where do I park?

There are parking garages and street parking nearby in Uptown Charlotte. Arrive early to allow time for parking and getting settled.

Do I have to stay for the whole event?

Nope! We give out prizes every round, so you can play as many rounds as you’d like and still have a shot at winning!

What if there's a tie for any round or the top scoring team of the night?

Never fear! The hosts have tie breaker questions. The team with the closest answer, without going over, will win the round/grand prize.

What happens if I get there late?

No worries at all! Since we give away a gift card to the top scoring team of each round you can just pick up at the start of the next round!

What if I did hear a question or need it repeated for some reason?

The hosts Game on Trivia always ask if anyone needs any repeats at the end of each round.
