Who is this event for?

Anyone who’s new to camping or wants a refresher on the basics! Whether you’ve never pitched a tent or just want to feel more confident outdoors, this event is designed to be beginner-friendly and welcoming!

Is this a real camping trip?

Nope! This is a hands-on learning event, not an overnight campout. We’ll be demonstrating how to set up a campsite in a park setting, so you can learn in a relaxed environment.

Do I need to bring my own camping gear?

Not at all! We’ll provide the gear for demos. But if you have your own tent or gear you want help with, feel free to bring it along.

What should I bring?

A camp chair or blanket Water bottle Notebook or phone for taking notes Any camp gear you're curious about (optional) A good attitude and questions!

Is this event free?

Yes! 100% free to attend. Just RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

Can I bring kids?

This event is geared toward adults and older teens, but responsible kids are welcome with an adult. Just note it’s a hands-on educational event, not a play day.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll have a weather backup plan or reschedule if needed. Registered attendees will be notified in advance via email and social media.

Will there be food or snacks?

We may provide light refreshments, but we encourage you to bring your own snacks or lunch just in case. Water will be available on site.
