SF Bay Area IABC Meetup: Let’s go crazy (or maybe just connect and catch up)

Ready to party like it’s 1999… or at least just hang with fellow communicators for a well-earned break?

Join us for an informal, FREE meetup at the Redwood City Rock the Dock Music Series featuring The Purple Ones, a high-energy Prince tribute band so talented that if you close your eyes you'll swear the Minneapolis Sound Master is back.

Bring family, friends, and fellow Prince fans to this fun and casual Saturday event -- which will be BYOP (bring your own picnic.)

Your host Shane McLaughlin will find an area of the lawn where we can set up our lawn chairs and blankets, as the Redwood City port has plenty of space. And if you want to get up and dance to the music of the legendary Prince, that is fully encouraged!

What to bring:

Lawn chair, blanket, food & beverage, sunscreen, a jacket (some times it gets cold on the waterfront.)

Is there foood there?

Yes, usually there are vendors including a seafood truck and other options.

Getting there: Caltrain

Sadly there is no Seaport bus service on weekends, but if you take Caltrain to the Redwood City station, it's a quick Lyft ride.

Parking:

There are lots close to the seaport but they fill up quickly, so you should try to arrive earlier. But don't fret, it's usually easy to find parking. You just may have to walk.

Questions? Email Shane at shane4603@gmail.com

See you there.
