Does this ticket include a place to sleep/stay?

Accepted Answer

Nope. You can rent a room from the three local hotels or hit up Air BNB. Rooms are going quickly, so book a room ASAP. You are free to stay ANYWHERE in town.

Do I need to have received the COVID vaccine to attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please be honest here and only attend if you have received the Covid Vaccine. Marfa is a very medically conservative town as it does not have a hospital in town. Marfa is also a very pro mask wearing town. We don't know what this summer brings, but as of now, we ask folx to have vaccines and we

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a senior in high school or older. We really want 18 years and older, but seniors have a special kind of seniority (ha ha did you get that humor?).

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Accepted Answer

That's all up to you. You can fly to El Paso and rent a car. You can take the train from Houston. You can drive or carpool with your friends from anywhere you decide. Parking depends on your living situation - you rent it, you park it. We want to try and carpool to other adventures as much as possib

What can I bring into the event?

Accepted Answer

Bring your own food, water, hoops, swim gear, etc. We have a pretty comprehensive list on the website. NO ALCOHOL is welcome at this event. If you need to drink, this is probably not your event.

What's the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

No refunds. The money from your ticket secures your ticket to the party and gives us a food budget. We will make calculations using these tickets. Once we set it, we can't undo it. We use this money in its entirety to honor our promises of breakfast and Balmorhea.

Why are the tickets so expensive when we only get breakfast and a Balmorhea pass?

Well, each ticket helps pay for the HQ house. Without a main house to gather that is large enough to host people and our activities, we can't pull this off. So we rent a big ol house, and the sleepers kick in as well as part of the ticket money. We need a place to gather.
